Soccer Recap: Wilton Comes Up Short

Wilton came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Linn-Mar Lions, falling 3-0.

Wilton's defeat dropped their record down to 11-2-3. As for Linn-Mar, they pushed their record up to 16-4-1 with the victory, which was their 11th straight on the road.

Wilton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Linn-Mar, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Muscatine on the 30th.
