The Granite Hills Eagles will head out on the road to take on the Del Norte Nighthawks at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Granite Hills has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since the 1st.

Granite Hills fell victim to Rancho Buena Vista and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Longhorns, falling 6-0. The game marked the first time this season in which the Eagles were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Del Norte). They skirted past Carlsbad 8-6.

Del Norte let Taylor Maeda and Lainey LLamas run wild. Maeda scored a run while going 2-for-2, while LLamas scored two runs while going 2-for-5. Maeda also put up two RBI, which were her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Ella Guier, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.
