Baseball Game Recap: Heber Springs Panthers vs. Morrilton Devil Dogs

After flying high against Nemo Vista on Monday, Heber Springs came back down to earth. The Panthers wound up with the same score they had in their last game (11-1), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. The loss continues a trend for them in their meetings with the Devil Dogs: they've now lost six in a row.

Heber Springs' defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-10. As for Morrilton, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Morrilton beat Heber Springs by a score of 9-0 later that day.
