Softball Recap: Alameda Takes a Loss

Alameda's tournament run continued when they took on Granada on Saturday. The Hornets fell just short of the Matadors by a score of 5-4.

Mia Wong made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.

Alameda's loss dropped their record down to 8-6-1. As for Granada, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season.

Alameda will host James Logan at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Granada, they will head out to challenge Dougherty Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last.
