Volleyball Recap: Pecatonica Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Pecatonica lost against Durand back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Indians fell 2-0 to the Bulldogs.

While Pecatonica ultimately came up short, they really made Durand work, particularly in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 26-24.

Brianna Carden paced Pecatonica's offense, picking up ten kills. Carden got some help from Sophie Fitzanko and her seven assists. Ryleigh Alexander controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Pecatonica's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Durand, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Pecatonica will take on rival Dakota at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Durand is set to square off against their familiar foe Orangeville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
