Pine Forest is a perfect 10-0 against Westover since March of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Pine Forest Trojans will host the Westover Wolverines at 6:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Pine Forest came up short against St. Pauls on Thursday, falling 14-4.

Savannah Winstead made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs and one triple. Gracie Miller was another key player, going 1-for-2 with three RBI and one triple.

Meanwhile, Westover was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 18-1 to Pine Forest. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Wolverines couldn't push the score so high this time.

Westover's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Pine Forest, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Pine Forest took their victory against Westover in their previous matchup on Tuesday by a conclusive 18-1. Will Pine Forest repeat their success, or does Westover have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
