Basketball Recap: Lincoln Victorious

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Lincoln had no problem doing just that on Friday. They skirted past the Cleveland Warriors 59-57. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 54-39 back in January.

Lincoln is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-9 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.3 points over those games. Cleveland's loss dropped their record down to 11-13.

Lincoln does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cleveland, they are taking a road trip to take on McMinnville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in McMinnville's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last ten contests.
