Football Recap: Knoch Knights vs. Kiski Area Cavaliers
Knoch couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They were beaten by the Kiski Area Cavaliers 42-7 on Friday. The Knights were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-7.
Landon Kucic was nothing short of spectacular for Kiski Area: he rushed for 182 yards and four touchdowns on only 15 carries. Kucic really tore up the turf during one magnificent 72-yard run. Aven Shirley did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 88 receiving yards.
