Basketball Recap: Marked Tree Takes a Loss

Marked Tree came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They had to suffer through a 62-26 loss at the hands of the Riverside Rebels. The matchup marked the Indians' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Marked Tree's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Riverside, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.

Marked Tree will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Bradford at 7:00 p.m. on December 2. The Indians are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Riverside, they have already played their next game, a 53-34 defeat against Greene County Tech on the 24th.
