Lexington had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They took down the Melrose Red Raiders 69-53. The Minutemen have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Red Raiders, too.

Lexington's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Melrose, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.

Lexington will challenge Belmont at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Melrose, they will face off against Stoneham at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.
