Basketball Game Preview: Old Town Coyotes vs. Ellsworth Eagles

Old Town is 2-8 against Ellsworth since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. Both will round out the year against one another at at 12:30 p.m.

Last Monday, Old Town came up short against Orono and fell 45-38. The matchup marked the Coyotes' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Ellsworth against Presque Isle on Saturday as the team secured a 68-34 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Old Town's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Ellsworth, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-1.

Old Town came out on top in a nail-biter against Ellsworth in their previous matchup last Tuesday, sneaking past 61-59. The rematch might be a little tougher for Old Town since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
