Lexington won the last time they faced Covenant Christian and things went their way on Thursday too. The Golden Bears came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 2-0.

Matti Shook paced Lexington's offense, picking up six kills. Shook got some help from Katelyn Sullivan and her 17 assists. Sullivan also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Brenlee White, each putting up two.

Lexington's victory bumped their record up to 19-17. As for Covenant Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-15.

Lexington wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Central on the 25th. As for Covenant Christian, they will take on Russellville at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
