Baseball Recap: Mansfield Takes a Loss

Fans were treated to a battle of the Tigers on Tuesday. Mansfield came up short against Charleston, falling 9-3. Mansfield was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Charleston apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Mansfield and nudges their season record down to 3-7. As for Charleston, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mansfield will head out to challenge Paris at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Charleston, they will venture away from home to square off against Alma at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Airedales will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight.
