Rapid City Christian is 8-2 against Hill City since December of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Rapid City Christian Comets will take on the Hill City Rangers at 7:30 p.m. Rapid City Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven matchups -- so hopefully Hill City likes a good challenge.

Rapid City Christian is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another highly-ranked state team: Trinity, who was ranked 11th in their home state at the time (Rapid City Christian was ranked first). Rapid City Christian blew past Trinity, posting a 66-38 victory. The 66-point effort marked the Comets' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Meanwhile, Hill City's undefeated season came to an end after three games on Friday. They took a hard 62-45 fall against West Central. The loss was the Rangers' first of the season.

Rapid City Christian's win bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Hill City, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Rapid City Christian came out on top in a nail-biter against Hill City when the teams last played back in February of 2024, sneaking past 71-69. The rematch might be a little tougher for Rapid City Christian since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
