Baseball Recap: Anna-Jonesboro Comes Up Short

Anna-Jonesboro was the 2-0 winner over Vienna when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. The Wildcats fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 4-3 on Thursday. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Anna-Jonesboro saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tyler Hannan, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Anna-Jonesboro's loss dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Vienna, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-13.

As of now, neither Anna-Jonesboro nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
