Briggsdale is 9-1 against Weldon Valley since December of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Briggsdale Falcons will be taking part in a tournament against the Weldon Valley Warriors at 12:30 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Briggsdale saw some tournament action on Tuesday. They came out on top against Bethune by a score of 53-44.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Weldon Valley). They took their match on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 60-22 win over Hi-Plains. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Warriors considering their 19-point performance the contest before.

Briggsdale's victory ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-15. As for Weldon Valley, their win bumped their record up to 7-14.

Briggsdale came up short against Weldon Valley in their previous meeting back in January, falling 43-35. Can Briggsdale avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
