Softball Recap: Fort Bragg Takes a Loss

Fort Bragg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Cloverdale Eagles. Timberwolves fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Eagles since on Thursday.

Fort Bragg's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Cloverdale, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-1.

Coming up, Fort Bragg will take on St. Helena at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Saints will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something the Timberwolves surely won't give up without a fight. As for Cloverdale, they will face off against Kelseyville at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
