Hawkinsville has gone a perfect 5-0 against Treutlen recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Red Devils are taking a road trip to face off against the Vikings at 7:30 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Friday, Hawkinsville took their contest with ease, bagging a 46-7 win over Montgomery County. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 27-0.

Hawkinsville relied on the efforts of Nieem Blair, who rushed for 60 yards and three scores, and Sebastian Clark, who threw for 182 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 85.7% of his passes. Those 182 passing yards gave Clark a new career-high.
Hawkinsville didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Jakori Pickett, Blair, and Quan Brown picked up one apiece.
Meanwhile, Treutlen had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.7 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Bobcats, sneaking past 15-13.
Hawkinsville better keep an eye on Zaniel Stokes. He was instrumental in Treutlen's win, rushing for 139 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.7 yards per carry, and also picking up 45 receiving yards.
Treutlen was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 201 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Dooly County only rushed for -2.
Hawkinsville's record now sits at 6-2. As for Treutlen, their record is now an identical 6-2.
Friday's matchup might be decided on the ground. Hawkinsville has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 214.2 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Treutlen struggles in that department as they've been averaging 195.5 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's contest turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Hawkinsville strolled past Treutlen in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a score of 27-13. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Red Devils since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
