Summit won the last time they faced Silverton and things went their way on Saturday too. The Storm came out on top against the Foxes by a score of 3-1.
Summit had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 16-25, 25-16, 25-11, 25-21.
Despite the defeat, Silverton saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Brielle Goode had 21 digs and three assists. Goode has been hot recently, having posted 16 or more digs the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Tylie Johnston, who had eight digs.
