Council extended their winning streak to five on Friday, bumping them up to 6-1. They breezed past the Salmon River Savages to the tune of 64-14. The result was nothing new for the Lumberjacks, who have now won six games by 32 points or more so far this season.

As for Salmon River, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3. The contest marked their lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Although Salmon River took the loss, they still got scores from Blake Shepherd and Riley Davis.

Looking ahead, Council will be playing in front of their home fans against Tri-Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Lumberjacks will need to watch out since the Titans have now posted at least 31 points in their last six games. As for Salmon River, they will venture away from home to face off against Cascade at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The Savages are facing the Ramblers at the right time seeing as the Ramblers are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
