Council faced Salmon River in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Lumberjacks blew past the Savages 64-14. The result was nothing new for the Lumberjacks, who have now won six games by 32 points or more so far this season.

Owen Hatfield threw for 103 yards and three TDs on only six passes. Bryson Evans was his top target, picking up 76 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

The victory was the fifth in a row for Council, bringing their record up to 6-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.2 points over those games. As for Salmon River, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.
