Softball Recap: West Harrison Comes Up Short

West Harrison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Bay Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Hurricanes of the 17-6 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2023.

West Harrison's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Bay, with the victory, they broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-4.

Looking ahead, West Harrison will be playing in front of their home fans against Gulfport at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Bay, they will head out on the road to face off against Pearl River Central at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
