Baseball Recap: NorthPoint Christian Academy Comes Up Short

After flying high against Ambassador Christian School last Friday, NorthPoint Christian Academy came back down to earth. NorthPoint Christian Academy fell just short of the Central Academy Cougars by a score of 8-7 on Monday.

Max Porter was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs while going 3-for-3. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Braxton Goodman, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI.

NorthPoint Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Central Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 4-5.

NorthPoint Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 10-8 defeat against Westminster Catawba Christian on the 19th. As for Central Academy, they have also already played their next contest, a 4-3 win against Forest Hills on the 18th.
