Wiggins found a leader in Alex Tarango as the team took down Sedgwick County on Friday. Tarango was dynamite, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out nine over four innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Wiggins is 2-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 3-5 otherwise.

Tarango's effort led Wiggins over Sedgwick County and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers are a perfect 9-0 against the Cougars going back to May of 2021, a lead they'll look to extend.
