Palisades came out on top against Venice on Monday thanks in part to Caleb Gitlin's efforts. Gitlin wasn't messing around, tossing six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off eight hits. The pitching appearance was his ninth straight with one or fewer earned runs.
