Softball Recap: Marin Catholic Comes Up Short

Marin Catholic has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.37 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Wednesday. They lost 12-3 to the San Rafael Bulldogs. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Wildcats have suffered since March 18th.

Morgan Carlson made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 4-for-4 with two doubles, one stolen base, and one run. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last 11 games she's played.

Marin Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 13-6. As for San Rafael, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-10 record this season.
