Basketball Game Preview: St. Mary's Rams vs. Tracy Bulldogs

St. Mary has gone 9-1 against Tracy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The St. Mary's Rams will be playing at home against the Tracy Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. St. Mary's is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.1 points per game this season.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, St. Mary's turned things around against West on Friday. They came out on top against the Wolfpack by a score of 45-35.

St. Mary's can attribute much of their success to William Weathington, who went 6 for 8 on his way to 17 points. Weathington is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Vincent Arnaudo, who posted seven points.

Tracy has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They had to suffer through a 84-48 loss at the hands of Lincoln. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 206th, while the Trojans are ranked seventh).

St. Mary's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-11. As for Tracy, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-5.
