Baseball Recap: Southern Maryland Christian Academy Comes Up Short

The Southern Maryland Christian Academy Mustangs lost 12-2 to the Potomac School Panthers on Monday. That's two games in a row now that the Mustangs have lost by exactly ten runs.

This is the second loss in a row for Southern Maryland Christian Academy and nudges their season record down to 2-4. As for Potomac School, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southern Maryland Christian Academy will square off against Riverdale Baptist at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The last four games Riverdale Baptist has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Potomac School, they will challenge Georgetown Day at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
