After losing to Trinidad the last time they met, Sierra Grande decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Panthers came out on top against the Miners by a score of 2-0 on Saturday.

Eneria Quintana paced Sierra Grande's offense, picking up ten kills. Quintana got some help from Audrianna Gerardo and her 12 assists. Quintana was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Sierra Grande's win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Trinidad, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Sierra Grande wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Mountain Valley on the 30th. As for Trinidad, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Primero on the 30th.
