Volleyball Recap: Harrison Extends Winning Streak to Three

Harrison had won two straight games and Taryn Musca did her part to make it three on Saturday. The Hoyas blew past the Hillgrove Hawks 3-0 with plenty of help from Musca, who had 12 assists and six digs. She is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Hillgrove lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Nasreen Zelaya-Salimi, who had ten digs and two aces. Josalyn Bettis was another key player, getting eight digs and seven assists.

Harrison's victory bumped their record up to 29-9. As for Hillgrove, they moved to 17-18 with that defeat, which also ended their four-match winning streak.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Harrison will square off against North Paulding at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hillgrove, they will challenge Etowah at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
