Hunter Rogers and Jeff Bridges provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Fennville. The longest such play in Southwestern - South this season, the connection resulted in 66 yards.

Adding to the longest winning streak in the league this week, Watervliet beat Martin 49-0,. This was the team's fourth consecutive win.

Garrison Muth was the best running back in the league this week. In 9 carries, he ran for 95 yards as Watervliet topped the Clippers. Teammate Blake Kiekenapp added to the ground attack by rushing for 82 yards.

Mathew Botti put up the best numbers in passing as Decatur defeated Gobles. He finished with 7 completions for 189 yards and 4 touchdowns. Botti's favorite target this week was Hunter Bell, who caught 2 passes for 53 yards.

Blocker was the best wideout in Southwestern - South this week as Jeremy Andrews' team bested Martin. Blocker tallied 3 receptions for 89 yards.

Zach Stuck was a key player and the best on defense this week as Marcellus defeated the Blackhawks. He.

He was 7-12 with 0 interception.

Watervliet's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Panthers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Luke Traver has thrown for 814 yards and 7 touchdowns this season, while Deven Schultz has 14 catches for 219 yards. Traver also leads the league in rushing with 319 yards.

An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Lawton takes on the Raiders. The Blue Devils are currently in second, while Decatur is in third.

Joe Groh's team scaled the state rankings by moving to 133 from 168 this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Raiders climbed the ranks as a result of besting the Tigers 27-0.
