Volleyball Recap: Highland Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Highland Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Georgia Christian Generals. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Generals this season, with their most recent loss being a 2-0 defeat on Saturday.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Highland Christian Academy sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 23-25, 15-6.

Highland Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 5-20. As for Georgia Christian, the victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 21-2.

Looking ahead, Highland Christian Academy will welcome Community Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Georgia Christian, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Valwood on the 30th.
