Football Game Preview: Chester County Eagles vs. McKenzie Rebels + How To Watch

Chester County is 0-4 against McKenzie since August of 2021 but things could change on Friday. The Eagles will be playing in front of their home fans against the Rebels at 7:00 p.m.

Chester County is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 33 points two weeks ago, they were much more limited against Lexington on Friday. They had to suffer through a 40-7 loss at the hands of the Tigers. The matchup marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, McKenzie entered their tilt with Camden Central on Friday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They really took it to the Lions for the full four quarters, racking up a 50-14 win. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 43-0.

Chester County better keep an eye on Cole Brown. He was instrumental in McKenzie's win, throwing for 240 yards and three touchdowns, while also rushing for 62 yards and a pair of scores. Brown didn't just play on offense: he also picked up a sack and made three total tackles. Matteo Campbell was another key player, gaining 85 total yards and two touchdowns.

Chester County now has a losing record of 2-3. As for McKenzie, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.

Chester County couldn't quite get it done against McKenzie in their previous meeting back in September of 2024 as they fell 20-13. Thankfully for the Eagles, Tate Surber (who rushed for 138 yards and two TDs while picking up 8.6 yards per carry, and also threw for 143 yards and one touchdown) won't be suiting up this time.
