Basketball Recap: Devon Prep Now 9-1 over Last Ten Games

With a playoff win on the line, Devon Prep rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They blew past the Eastern York Golden Knights 60-40. Given the Tide's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked third, while the Golden Knights are ranked 134th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Devon Prep had a senior duo take command as Reece Craft dropped a double-double with 19 points and 13 boards and Zane Conlon shot 55% from the field en route to 19 points and seven rebounds. The game was Craft's third in a row with at least 19 points. Another player making a difference was Calvin Smith, who posted five points and five assists.

Devon Prep has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-4 record this season. Eastern York's defeat dropped their record down to 20-6.

Looking ahead, Devon Prep will challenge Bishop Shanahan on Friday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive. Eastern York does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
