Softball Recap: Larue County Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Larue County can now relate to. They took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the North Hardin Trojans on Wednesday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, with their most recent defeat being a 3-0 loss back in April.

Larue County saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Laura Austin, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Larue County's defeat dropped their record down to 27-7. As for North Hardin, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 25-12.

As of now, neither Larue County nor the Trojans have any future games scheduled.
