Football Recap: Lower Merion Comes Up Short

Lower Merion lost against Upper Darby back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Aces lost 39-15 to the Royals. The Aces have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lower Merion's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Upper Darby, the win made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 3-7.

Coming up, Lower Merion will face off against Radnor at 7:00 p.m. on November 1. The Aces will be up against the Raptors' rather soft defense (which has allowed 32.7 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Upper Darby, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Haverford at 10:00 a.m. on November 27. The Fords' defense has only allowed 12.1 points per game this season, so the Royals' offense will have their work cut out for them.
