Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Hawthorne). They strolled past the Pine Ridge Panthers with  points to spare on Saturday, taking the game  75-60. Winning may never get old, but the Hornets sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hawthorne to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Leland Johnson, who  went 7 for 15  en route to 18 points.  Chasion Wilson was another key player,  going 5 of 8  on his way to 15  points and five  boards.
 Hawthorne  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 15  offensive boards. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their  offensive board total in four consecutive  games.
 Several Panthers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Henry Robinson Jr, who  dropped  a double-double on 17 points and 12  rebounds. Robinson Jr is also on a roll when it comes to  blocks, as he's  now  posted two or more in the last four games he's  played. Another player making a difference was  Anthony Tedesco, who  dropped  a double-double on ten  points and ten  boards.
Hawthorne's victory bumped their record up to 12-2. As for Pine Ridge, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having  lost 12 of their last 15 matches,  which put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record  this season.
 Hawthorne wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  contest,  a  54-45  win against P.K. Yonge on the 27th. As for Pine Ridge, they also  didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  game,  an  81-63  defeat against Atlantic on the 27th.
