Basketball Recap: Leslie County Comes Up Short

On Saturday, the Leslie County Eagles took a blow against the Good Hope Raiders, falling 67-40.

Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Cutter Browning, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 15 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jesse Hoskins, who posted ten points and five rebounds.

Even though they lost, Leslie County smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive rebounds in three consecutive matches.
