Montabella is 8-2 against Coleman since February of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Montabella Mustangs will take on the Coleman Comets in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. Montabella knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Coleman likes a good challenge.

Montabella took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They took their match with ease, bagging a 59-30 victory over St. Charles. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 29 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Coleman hadn't done well against Breckenridge recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Coleman came out on top in a nail-biter against Breckenridge, sneaking past 52-49. The Comets' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Montabella's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Coleman, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Montabella strolled past Coleman in their previous meeting back in February by a score of 54-40. Does Montabella have another victory up their sleeve, or will Coleman turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
