Volleyball Recap: Edison Comes Up Short

Edison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 2-0 to the Francis Lewis Patriots, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Francis Lewis this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in March.

Edison's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Francis Lewis, their win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-2.

Coming up, Edison will look to defend their home court on Friday against Bayside at 4:30 p.m. The Commodores will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Edison surely won't give up without a fight. As for Francis Lewis, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Cardozo on the 9th.
