Volleyball Game Preview: Windber Ramblers vs. North Star Cougars + How To Watch

Windber hasn't had much luck against North Star recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Ramblers will venture away from home to challenge the Cougars at 6:00 p.m. Windber will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

On Wednesday, Windber got the win against Greater Johnstown by a conclusive 3-0.

While Windber won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-19, 25-22.

Meanwhile, North Star came up short against Meyersdale on Tuesday and fell 3-1.

The 3-1 doesn't really show just how close this match was: all the sets North Star lost were decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 27-25, 22-25, 25-23.

North Star's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Windber, their win bumped their record up to 14-5-2.

Windber was able to grind out a solid victory over North Star when the teams last played back in September, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Ramblers since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
