Chandler easily dispatched Fruita Monument on Friday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. Chandler fell just short of the Resurrection Christian Cougars by a score of 6-4 on Friday. The Wolves' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Colin Murphy was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one double and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Thomas Bass, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Chandler's loss dropped their record down to 6-5-1. As for Resurrection Christian, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
