Baseball Recap: Aspen Takes a Loss

Aspen was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They fell 5-1 to the Glenwood Springs Demons.

Aspen saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dylan Mika, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Aspen's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Glenwood Springs, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-5.

Looking ahead, Aspen will square off against Meeker at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cowboys will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Skiers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Glenwood Springs, they will challenge Montbello at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
