Softball Recap: Chaparral Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Chaparral duked it out with Henderson on Saturday. The Chaparral Bobcats fell 6-3 to the Henderson Lions.

Chaparral saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Madison Edwards, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. That home run was Edwards' first of the season.

Chaparral's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Henderson, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-4-1.

Looking ahead, Chaparral will square off against Canyon Lake at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Henderson, they will challenge Chapel Hill at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Henderson is facing Chapel Hill at the right time seeing as Chapel Hill is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
