Basketball Recap: Quantico Warriors vs. Tandem Friends Badgers
The Quantico Warriors can finally bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They skirted past Tandem Friends 27-24. Quantico's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Among those leading the charge was Jadyn Cline, who scored ten points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season.
Quantico's win ended a 15-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-10. As for Tandem Friends, their loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-10.
Quantico will take on the Yellow Jackets at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Randolph-Macon Academy's defense has only allowed 27.6 points per game this season, so the Warriors' offense will have their work cut out for them. Tandem Friends will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on the Falcons at 4:30 p.m. on February 13th.
