Softball Recap: Fairfield Falcons vs. Rodriguez Mustangs

There's no place like home for Fairfield, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 13-12 win over the Rodriguez Mustangs on Tuesday. The high-scoring effort was just what Fairfield needed considering they were shutout in their previous match.

The team relied heavily on Hallee Winschell, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and a triple. Another player making a difference was Claudia Lucero, who scored three runs while going 2-for-5.
