Baseball Recap: Haddon Township Takes a Loss

Haddon Township and Woodstown squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Haddon Township had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Wolverines by a score of 1-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Hawks of the 17-8 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2022.

Haddon Township's loss dropped their record down to 7-16. As for Woodstown, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-9 record this season.

Haddon Township does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Woodstown, they will square off against Pennsville Memorial on Thursday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Wolverines surely won't give up without a fight.
