Softball Recap: Providence Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Providence Christian Academy scored first but ultimately less than Columbia Academy in their game on Monday. They came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 11-1. The LIONS have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Carleigh Allen was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Providence Christian Academy now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Columbia Academy, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Providence Christian Academy LIONS challenge Middle Tennessee Christian Cougars at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Columbia Academy, they will face off against Franklin Road Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
