With a playoff win on the line, Scottsdale Preparatory Academy rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They were the clear victor by a 9-2 margin over the Rancho Solano Prep Mustangs. The result was nothing new for the Spartans, who have now won ten matches by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Rancho Solano Prep with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Maeve Morgan (4), Katie An (3), Ellie Folkestad, and Adeena Feffer.

Scottsdale Preparatory Academy pushed their record up to 12-0 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up four goals over those nine contests. As for Rancho Solano Prep, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 6-7 record this season.

Scottsdale Preparatory Academy has already played their next match, a 4-2 win against Arete Prep on the 15th. Rancho Solano Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
