Basketball Recap: Prairie City Beats Pine Eagle for Their Third Straight Victory

Prairie City waltzed into their match on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They took down the Pine Eagle Spartans 63-47. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 63-32 last Saturday.

Prairie City pushed their record up to 3-3 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.3 points per game. As for Pine Eagle, they are on an 18-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Prairie City Panthers take on the Wallowa Cougars at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Pine Eagle will take on Four Rivers in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
